Before I knew her, Juliette Lewis was one of my favorite artists. She’s truly a special woman. Years after becoming a successful actress, she launched her music project and it came with such true authenticity and passion. Dave Grohl produced (and drummed on) her debut album, and then the guys from the Mars Volta did her follow up. In 2016, Juliette asked me to be her drummer, and we went on tour just a few weeks after that. With an all-star band featuring my pals Juan Alderete (Mars Volta, Marilyn Manson) and John Michael Anderson (Devils Orchestra, Banks) we had the privilege of performing her songs and shredding solo’s to sold out crowds and festivals across the U.S.
